A Favorite Walk – I do this walk by my house a few times a week. This is about 5 minutes away and affords amazing views of the valley.

Exploring New Zealand on the way to the Antarctic – Stu and I had a really fun road trip on the way to Christchurch, where we took a flight down to the arctic. Along the way, we had a fun night here in Tekapo. There’s actually an AMAZING sushi restaurant right by here… we stayed there a LONG time and ate a lot of sushi and had a lot of sake, then stumbled over to take this photo during an amazing sunset!

An Abandoned Game Trail in China – Most of the photos you see of the Great Wall are from reconstructed bits. This is the actual part of the wall and it’s amazing how nature is clawing it back under the earth. I walked along it for quite a long time towards the sunset. In many places, it was quite dangerous. I probably should not have been out here alone!

Evening Sun On The Remarkables – Every sunset here is different! This was taken about five minutes from my home… and I get to see these mountains every night at sunset. Each one is completely different, and this is one of my favorite situations where the sun finally slips between a few clouds to illuminate the side of the mountain here. How beautiful!

The Epic Harbor of Buenos Aires
I think I should not have been here. After I was roaming around this area, a few of my Argentine friends told me it was quite dangerous. There is a popular area nearby that is much safer, but I heard it attracts the criminal element… and they are more likely to pick off the weak wildebeests on the outskirts… this was definitely the outskirts

Amazing Rotterdam
I had a great time wandering around Rotterdam at night. We had a great dinner across the river and then came down to start taking photos. As is often the case with me, I wander off on my own and the team loses track of me. But that’s okay… I’m fairly self-sufficient. So, along the way, I found this spot along the river. I thought the colors and shapes were amazing, so I hung out here for about 15 minutes waiting for the right moment.

Hot Air Ballooning In The Morning
A pretty and foggy morning over Lake Hayes here, eh? There are lots of these… i should really get over there and take more morning walks. I’ve been over there many times, and I often do see hot air balloons. This was the first time I had my camera with me, so it was a lucky experience.

Carnevale In Venice – The detail on the outfits and masks from all over Venice was so incredible! I’m always impressed by the artistry and effort people put into their displays. I’ll tell you a secret! Well, maybe that’s not the right word… I don’t know what the word is. But, maybe like you, I’ve seen photos of Carnevale in Venice my whole life. Well, I thought the whole time that all of this was actually painted on the face. But it’s not… it’s all a mask and the only real part is the eyes. Maybe you knew this the entire time, but I did not. But if you’ve just discovered this for the first time like me, then you know what I mean when it changes everything and the way you see it!
